Screen Printing

Plastisol

Plastisol is a plastic based ink that sits on top of the fabric, resulting in vivid colors.

  • Rougher hand feel

  • Heavier on dark fabrics

Soft Hand Plastisol

  • Not quite as opaque as straight plastisol.

Waterbased 

Waterbased printing dyes the fabric of the shirt, resulting in a soft print.

CONS

  • More expensive 

  • Colors are not as vibrant on darker shirts.

  • More difficult to color match.

Cotton

Waterbased Discharge

A chemical is added to waterbased inks that lifts the color from the shirt, and dyes the fabric, resulting in a more vibrant color.

  • Not all shirts are dyed the same way which can lead to unexpected results.

A digital waterbased print, perfect for smaller runs or more complicated graphics like photographs.

CONS

  • We can only print on white or very light fabrics. 

  • Not as cost effective for larger runs.
